I want to be your next #FediHire ! I've been a programmer since 1985 (as a child), I've been an IT professional since 1995 (pulling wires and swapping cards and configuring MS Windows). I graduated from University of Arkansas Fayetteville with a BS in CS in December of 2003. A full resume is available.

I currently require a 100% remote position. I cannot relocate from Cove, #Arkansas. I would prefer W-2 employment with a base salary of at least 130k USD/yr, plus some sort of retirement offering (401k or similar) and healthcare benefits (HDCP + HSA or similar).

I prefer something where I can be a high-performing individual contributor: reading, writing and improving source text the majority of my day, with some time spent knowledge-sharing with other developers -- learning and teaching. I'd like to work with #Haskell, #Purescript, or #Idris as the primary source language. I've previously delivered value in Haskell, #Javascript, #SQL, #Python, #Scala, #Java, #C, and #C++ among others. I can be productive in almost any language (no PHP, please; I promised myself never again).

I’m looking for a new job as my company will be reorganising soon. I do software design*, user research, product management and have hired and managed teams of designers and developers.

Looking for something senior but I like the mixed nature of startup roles because I still like doing actual hands-on design. I’m in the UK, and a remote role is best for me.

Ok, let me put this straight. I am not in a critical situation. Like I have a job right now, and they are not going to throw me out. At least so I hope 😅

But, yet another day, yet another daily, yet another "I have literally nothing to do".

There was some talking about helping with some other stuff the other person in the team is doing. But this set of tasks is being stuck as well, due to dependency of some resources unavailable. It's already a running joke in the team.

So, if you know about vacancy in a place who needs a Linux engineer, I'd be glad to know.

I am kinda Linux generalist (with some exceptions, see below).

What I would like to do?
Get back to C++, if possible.
Get into bare metal embedded (no experience at all).

What I do not want to do?
Frontend for webdev.

What is currently hip, and I have no idea about? Containers and cloud. Absolutely no experience with docker/kubernetes. The same for AWS/Azure/whatever. However, I can catch up if necessary.

What I know (more or less) about: C, C++, perl, python, shell, github, Jira, integration, testing, some network protocols, networking in general, SQL, SQL databases.

I did some sysadmin/netadmin/maintenance jobs in the past

I am a sucker for a quality code and good design. And - depending on the workplace - that could be considered as a merit, or a flaw.

Kinda jack of almost all trades.

I am currently located in Eindhoven, but relocation to other Dutch city is possible.

I would prefer to say in The Netherlands. But for a proper opportunity I can relocate. I am a citizen of an EU country.

Throwing my hat into the ring everywhere I can while I look for a new job! I'm a US citizen but looking specifically for roles outside the US, particularly in Europe and the UK.

I am an editor/content strategist/content manager/digital librarian. I've worked in SharePoint and AEM. I've edited webcomics and novels, and have written comic scripts. I've worked on international teams, and managed small teams. I've been working on an intranet site for one of the biggest healthcare companies in the US for the last ~6 years, doing everything from making sure content follows our internal style guide (and AP style) to training content owners in the editing/upload process. On the back end, I manage metadata and work closely with my team to make decisions about our content governance policies and procedures.

I'm also getting a masters degree in Library and Information Science!
