Does anybody know what the deal with https://www.europesays.com/ and https://pubeurope.com/ is? The showed up in the #edinburgh / #scotland tags a few weeks ago and while more local news is very welcome they seem to be just be copying whole newspaper articles into their website without backlinks or credits to the original sites (sometimes they are somewhere in the copied text). It all seems very fishy to me ...

So Goll’s Barbers, in Stockbridge, has now become The Little Parlour Square selling ice cream, confectionery and other sweet treats.

Love that they have preserved much of the old barber interior. Going in felt like stepping back to the 90s, when I used to get my hair shaved there!

This clown has driven over a pavement, around the corner to park on the canal towpath outside Boroughmuir High School, obviously an area which is *not* open to motorised traffic at all, yet this utter shagwit has driven quite far into it.

Is it still possible in Edinburgh to use cash to pay for a taxi or Uber?
The character I am writing about has a problem: It's the middle of the night, his phone battery is empty and he forgot his credit card at home. He also cannot use a night bus easily (I think) because he is living not in Edinburgh itself, but farther outside of the city.
