You know, I'm playing around with #bluesky but it still feels like corporate silo stuff. I loved #Twitter in the pre-Elon days when social media was still wild and cool. Now it's just a cesspool of "us vs them" hate.

While not perfect, the #Fediverse seems to endure and manage itself better against all that hate. Yes, you can silo yourself on a mastodon server on a particular topic, but if the rest of Fediverse thinks you're nasty, they can blacklist you. More power to the people!
