One for #Linux #nerds. I just upgraded KDE Neon on my wife's old desktop PC and now it won't boot. In the bios set up the harddrive isn't listed as a boot option. Boot recovery on USB stick boots OK but won't fix boot because it thinks the PC is running in BIOS compatibility mode and demands I enable UEFI. Snag is the PC is so old it doesn't have UEFI. Does this mean all modern distros will fail on it? Probably need to buy something more recent...
