The Trump Game Plan

Increasingly, our country feels to be as I believe Germany must have felt to Germans in the 1930's - after Hitler took power but before he was absolute dictator, before the concentration camps, before the holocaust.

Trump is following Hitler's model to consolidate power: attacking political opponents using DoJ investigations and threats from thugs; bending the press to his will; attacking education, squelching free speech; ignoring laws and court decisions, pushing always toward more absolute control.

He has been demonising immigrants -- the new Jews -- with masked paramilitary rounding them up, sending some to concentration-camp style prison, with more camps planned.

There are groups and organizations fighting back. I am not sure of the best way to resist Trump's takeover, but I know we must resist in whatever ways we can.
