Thinking of publishing some dev/design courses on my site.
Some paid, some free as simple guides with exercises.
Paid ones might be remote or offline, still figuring it out.
I could review the final test if you want help.
Would you be interested? What kind of topics would you like? Any thoughts on how the paid ones should work?
@mirkobrombin Since you worked on projects such as Vanilla and Bottles, you must have interesting insights on some lower level things such as networking, containers, kernel itself, glue that combines things together, and so on. I think it could be really interesting for many Linux users to learn how things actually work. I’d pay for that! There isn’t a lot of content on these topics and when things do not work as you’d expect it’s hard to understand why that is
@mirkobrombin there are lots of abstractions in various parts of the Linux stack nowadays - pipewire, Wayland, etc., and it’s not that clear why these abstractions have been shaped as they are, I think that would also be interesting to have some overview on that. I think you could provide some interesting view on it.
