@mkwadee Plus Virgil wrote The Iliad. I guess that's a little obscure to base a cartoon's punchline on, though.
@spiegelmama No he didn't; he wrote the Aeneid.
@spiegelmama Never mind, sometimes everyone's mind plays tricks. Homer wrote The Iliad and The Odyssey (both in Greek), Virgil wrote the Aeneid and Ovid wrote Metamorphosis (both in Latin).
@mkwadee The truly embarrassing thing is that i read The Aeneid in the original back in high school. 😕
@spiegelmama Strange though it might appear, I've read all the ones I mentioned except the Aeneid!
