I've got a #DeniseKit and I am wondering. Do they sell cords that are short enough for making socks? I have double-pointed metal needles, but I cannot keep them straight, but I really want to try my hand at making my own pair. It's juggling all the double-pointed ones. I just keep twisting the yarn. But if I can get a short enough cord, I can probably manage it without twisting stitches and not losing stitches. The only thing that worries me a little, aside from the DPNs, is how do I do the heel? I understand the toe, and I understand the leg, but the part for the heel sounds kind of confusing. But I relaly want to try it. But I need very very clear instructions, spelled out, telling me exactly how to do it. Those short rows, I mean telling me to look at a picture will not work.

I found my cords and ordered two of them, I'm just not sure which is best for socks--3 inches or 5 inches... #DeniseKit #knitting
