I got this done on my livestream yesterday. It’s a Raven, and I’d received a couple requests from local art fair patrons to make one.

I wondered why Ravens in particular, and then chatted with a local Native American artist who said that here in Humboldt County, there’s a lot of them inland among the Redwood trees. And she said they have significance to local tribes.

So I get it now. And I’m using this image as an asset in yet another composition I’m working on eventually.

ll my work is #HumanMade. I painted this in Procreate, stroke by stroke. It took 6513 strokes using my Apple Pencil on my ipad, and 5hrs 49 minutes to complete.
