So, In my latest attempt to lose weight, I decided to do two things, #intermittentfasting and #caloriecounting at the same time. This seems to be working fine. I usually don't have breakfast, so it wasn't hard to eat later in the day, but it was difficult to stop eating right after dinner 🤦♂️ combined with limited calories and it gets even more difficult. Three weeks later, I already lost 5kg 💪. #fitness #healthy
I changed slightly what I eat as well, in order to fit my calories target. So more green salad (cucumber and tomatoes) slightly less carbs and protein. Because of counting calories, I significantly reduced my takeaway orders (because I cannot reliabily calculate their calories), which resulted in more homemade meals ...etc
I weight myself same time every day and log it. I noticed that, despite not exceeding my calories limits, when drinking #soda #cocacola #softdrinks , it significantly slows down my metabolism. Same food and portions that would take 2 days to be consumed, with a soft drink in the mix would take four days, where my body would simply gain weight day after day. Same (but a bit limited) with #coffee above 2 cups/day
Now that I established an eating routine, I started to do #Crosstrainer #eliptical training. Nothing excessive, just trying to move my muscles, given that I work from home and live In a city where taking a walk is not an option between February and November 😅. I'd be lucky if I make 100 steps in these conditions 😅 #fitness
so, #fitness progress. I've been doing #exercises for the past week. medium to high intensity according to my smart watch (based on heart rate ranges). the #intermittent #fasting routine is now well established, I start feeling hungry just shortly before the end. losing #weight trend is now lower than previous weeks, but I already feel that I am slowly getting in shape. I signed up for #swimming classes to be done once a week. generally I feel good 😊
