In theory it is barely possible to imagine that the leading governments of the world will soon make a joint effort to drastically reduce fossil fuel use, end capitalism, and begin a program of planned #Degrowth while making #ClimateJustice a high priority.
It's possible, but I'd say the chances of that happening are very slim.
So what can we do? In general, I think it might be best to begin learning as much as possible about the process of potential societal collapse. How and when could things start to unravel where you live?
