@aral Historians and regular guys use the term #capitalism as a historical "ideal type" to understand current historical events. When they want to show that they don't like something, they use "capitalism." They don't like rising prices: blame capitalism. They don't like war: blame capitalism... They think that capitalism, capitalism as they understand it, is the source of all evil. But they just confuse capitalism with statism. Mises wrote: Whoever wishes peace among peoples must fight statism.
