@Kierkegaanks @wendynather After a career working in military facilities with both military and federal civilians, I have a pretty decent handle on the run-of-the-mill MAGA mindset. They do assume that everyone around them thinks like them. It's kind of unthinkable to them that someone wouldn't. They're also the loud christians who want to push their religion on you, assuming it is welcome and you are already on board. The worst among them are male, and they get more comfortably loud the older they are. They're not nice people. They're aggressive, deceptive, and have a zero sum mindset.
Sadly, their assumptions that liberals will be nice and therefore are easily stomped are mostly borne out. But those of us who have had a firsthand look at abuse know what we're looking at. MAGAs are classic abusers, the whole mindset is built by and for abusers. The public at large is again learning what it's like to be the target of an abuser, since they didn't learn it well enough in Trump45. I hope eventually the great majority of people are going to say no more of this and I hope they do it with general strikes. Stop the gears. Leaving an abuser is basically a general strike.
